Insulating layer made from light, lofty fleece, specially designed as active insulation

Polartec® Alpha™ holds warm air close to the body and lets extra heat and moisture escape while you move. Hydrophobic fibers move moisture away from the skin, dry quickly and keep insulation working even when damp.

Works well as a light outer layer in dry, calm weather, or as a midlayer under a windbreaker or membrane jacket for wind and rain protection.
