Lightweight and packable poncho-tarp. It features a well-adjustable hood, wide visor and buckle fixation on the front, which provides better wind protection.
The updated version has become lighter, has integrated sleeves and is available in two sizes.
Rain Ghost is a poncho-tarp that weighs only 210 grams (7,4 oz) for size M. It is an ideal choice for those who appreciate lightweight and multifunctional gear.
Translucent 15 denier nylon has a polyurethane coating on the inside and silicone on the outside. Taped seams ensure complete protection.
Wide visor and hood drawstring allow you to protect your face from the rain. You can additionally adjust the hood with a special Velcro on the back.
In the updated version, the edges are fixed with buttons, and an additional fastening system on the front for better protection in windy weather.
Another unique advantage of the Rain Ghost is its integrated sleeves with button fasteners. This way, your hands will stay dry and there is no need for separate waterproof sleeves.
The poncho can be used as a tarp. There are 9 loops for fastening along the edges, so you can set the poncho in convenient way. Under this shelter, you can wait out the weather alone or with friends, organize a camp kitchen or spend the night.

I haven’t used it for its intended purpose yet, but I can say that the storage case is very small, and it’s hard to put the raincoat in it. This is not a “deal breaker”, I’m just leaving a review for the manufacturer. It looks good, the hood is comfortable, and the fastening system on buckle is also well. I plan to use it actively next season.

Do u have any pictures for use as a cooking shelter, what are the loops configuration? Corners, ridgelines & middle?

In the coming months, we will update this model – so we will definitely take all the pictures and add it to the product card along with the availability.

The size M is 211g inside its sack wich can be easily compacted to 6x15cm (9x15stated), there are lighter ponchos but they’re shorter in length and wide so you end up wet on your forearms and legs also those can’t be set as a tarp, and anyway you could easily cut it down and sew the borders so to make it lighter. This one even has an ellastic and adjustable string to get it tight around the waist. Seams come already taped, I like its perceived quality and I’m very sure it’s up to what it’s got to do
